Lindsley Excavating

Lindsley Excavating / Foundation excavation & pad preparation.

Foundation excavation & pad preparation.

Lindsley provides foundation excavation, building-pad preparation, aggregate placement and backfill for residential and commercial projects. Foundation plans, elevations and the specified soil and fill requirements establish the scope.

Use the foundation and site plans together

Finished-floor elevation, footing elevations, basement limits and existing grades determine the excavation. Show working room, access and any nearby structures. A building footprint alone does not establish excavation depth, soil export or the volume of structural fill.

Separate drainage and below-slab work

Footing drains, sub-slab drainage, stone layers and radon-system groundwork should be identified from the building plans. Clarify outlet locations and the work of the foundation, plumbing and radon contractors. The estimate should show what Lindsley installs and where another trade takes over.

Account for placement and inspection

Share the fill specification, lift requirements and testing arrangements. Backfill against foundations must be coordinated with the building contractor’s construction sequence. For manufactured homes or specialized pads, provide the approved designer or manufacturer requirements rather than relying on a generic pad section.

Project questions

Does foundation excavation include concrete footings?

New concrete is a separate scope unless expressly included. We define excavation, aggregate, drainage and backfill items in the proposal.

Can you price footing drainage with the excavation?

Yes. Send the drain layout, elevations, outlet detail and material specification so it can be priced as a defined item.
