Lindsley provides excavation, trenching, bedding, backfill and site restoration for underground utility work. Water, sanitary and storm scopes can be reviewed alongside conduit trenching and the work of electrical or other specialty contractors.
Identify who supplies the pipe or conduit, who installs each system, who makes final connections and who performs testing. Excavation support for an electrical contractor is different from a complete underground piping package. A clear scope matrix helps prevent gaps between trades.
Provide utility routes, profiles, invert elevations and known crossings. Existing utilities, groundwater, trench support requirements and restricted access may change the construction approach. Drawings and available subsurface information are important inputs; field utility coordination remains necessary.
A utility trench may pass through pavement, gravel, lawn or an active entrance. Show each restoration area and identify required shutdowns or owner coordination. Backfill requirements, testing and surface reinstatement should appear in the estimate so the completed scope is comparable across bidders.
